Design Facilitation
Teaching, facilitating, and learning, have been entangled with my professional work, mostly in the form of running workshops, and courses. With my background as a textile and fashion designer it help to shapes the design thinking structure and my working approaches. Moreover, I found the joy and perks of working in group, and interacting directly with user (artisan) practiced creative problem solving process.
Desa Sejahtera Astra in a CSR program from PT Astra International Tbk. In collaboration with KOPIKKON started in 2019 the program run in five different regions in Indonesia, including Belitung. Act as design facilitator for DSA Belitung, the textile and fashion sector focuses on the batik artisan community. This program is a follow up from earlier research with IKKON Bekraf in 2018. The goal is to integrate the production system within each existing community and empowered a new potential village to form a batik community.

The incubation program initiated by the Regional Departemen of Tourism Wakatobi are consists of an intensive design workshop. Focuses on the development of traditional weavers and local tailor. The goal from this project is not only to enhance their design skills but also initiate systems whereas the artisan can produce a retail product to achieve socio-economic growth.
